1. Who We Are

2. What You're Agreeing To

By installing Agent Savanna, you ("Merchant", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please review them before using the service.

These Terms govern your use of the Agent Savanna application, including all features, AI-generated content, and related services.

3. The Service

Agent Savanna connects to your Shopify store via the Shopify API to extract and analyse your store data, generate metrics, and deliver AI-powered insights and reports.

The types of data we access and the features we offer may expand over time – including connections to third-party platforms you authorise. We'll update these Terms and our Privacy Policy when significant changes occur.

4. Early Access

Agent Savanna is currently in Early Access. This means:

• All features are included at no cost during the Early Access period
• Early Access users are limited
• We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time
• We'll give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans

5. Your Data

What We Access

We access your Shopify store data solely to provide the service. The types of data we process may evolve as we develop new features and integrations.

Data Region

You choose your data region (EU or US) during setup. Your store data is stored in the selected region.

Data Retention

• Active use: Your data is retained while the app is installed
• After uninstall: Store data is deleted upon uninstallation. Generated insights are retained for up to 6 months – so if you reinstall, your insights are still there. You can request immediate deletion at any time
• Store identifier: A non-reversible, pseudonymised store identifier is retained permanently for licensing and anti-abuse purposes

Third-Party Platform Connections

Integrations with external platforms like Google Search Console or Meta Ads are always merchant-initiated and require your explicit authorisation. Data from one connected platform is never shared with another.

6. Intellectual Property

AI-Generated Content – Our IP

All AI-generated content produced by Agent Savanna – including insights, reports, analyses, recommendations, and any other output from our AI workflows – is the intellectual property of Agentti Savanni Oy.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

• View AI-generated content within the Agent Savanna app
• Use insights and recommendations to inform your business decisions
• Reference insights within your organisation and with your trusted partners, such as agencies or consultants

You may not:

• Export, download, or bulk-extract AI-generated content from the app
• Redistribute AI-generated content to third parties outside the app
• Use AI-generated content to build or train competing products or services
• Systematically copy or reproduce AI-generated content outside the app

Note: If you use Shopify's collaborator or staff accounts to grant third parties (such as agencies) access to your Shopify admin, they may view Agent Savanna content within the app as part of your store's access. This is permitted use.

Your Content – Your IP

Content you add to the app, such as comments or custom labels, remains your property. You can request Agent Savanna to provide all your user-generated content at any time.

Our App

The Agent Savanna application, its design, code, AI workflows, and branding are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to these beyond using the service as intended.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or its AI systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data or content from the app
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Shopify's terms
• Attempt to access other merchants' data or circumvent store isolation
• Resell or commercially redistribute any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Agent Savanna available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service – especially during Early Access. We may:

• Perform maintenance with or without notice
• Experience downtime due to third-party dependencies (Shopify API, cloud infrastructure, AI providers)
• Modify or discontinue features

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination and Suspension

You Can Leave Anytime

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Your store data will be deleted per Section 5.

We Can Suspend or Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Use the service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure
• Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity

We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the service or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your licence to use the service and access AI-generated content ends immediately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties – express, implied, or statutory – including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Specifically:

• AI-generated insights and recommendations are informational only – not financial, legal, or business advice
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content
• AI systems can make mistakes. Insights are based on the data available in your store and the capabilities of our AI systems at the time of generation
• You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any insights or recommendations. We are not liable for business outcomes, investments, or resources spent based on AI-generated content – whether the result is positive, negative, or neutral
• You should use your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice before making business decisions based on insights

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages – including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption
• We are not liable for actions or omissions of third-party services (Shopify, cloud providers, AI model providers)
• We are not liable for any business decisions you make based on AI-generated content, or for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from acting on recommendations provided by the service

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

• We'll notify you through the app or by email
• Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, your remedy is to uninstall the app

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in the District Court of Espoo, Finland – unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

14. General

• This is the whole agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and us. No other promises or documents apply unless referenced here
• Invalid clauses don't break the rest. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, everything else still applies
• We can be flexible without losing our rights. If we don't enforce a provision in one case, that doesn't mean we've waived it – we can still enforce it later
• We can transfer this agreement. If Agentti Savanni Oy is acquired or merges with another company, these Terms transfer to the new entity. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms to someone else
